- Board: means the state administrative board. See Michigan Laws 35.972
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. In case the congress of the United States shall adopt measures providing for financial aid or other assistance available to the state of Michigan in the payment of the bonus under the provisions of this act, the state administrative board is hereby authorized on behalf of the state of Michigan to accept any such financial or other assistance.
