Terms Used In Michigan Laws 129.83

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     This act shall be construed as supplemental to the laws of this state, and as an additional authorization for the investment of funds and the type of security given by depositories, and the type of deposit authorized to be made by trust companies and insurance companies with the state treasurer.
