  • commission: means the state transportation commission established in section 28 of article V of the state constitution of 1963. See Michigan Laws 247.660c
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     If the state transportation commission, by resolution, after January 1, 1983, authorizes the issuance of notes or bonds, the state transportation commission shall provide the appropriations committees of the senate and the house of representatives with a list of the projects for which the notes or bonds are to be issued. The list shall be provided at least 30 days before the notes or bonds are issued.
