Terms Used In Michigan Laws 322.124
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
All other evidences of title, by which this state holds any lands shall be in like manner recorded in the office of the secretary of state, so that his office shall contain the whole collection of all the land titles of the state of Michigan.
