Terms Used In Michigan Laws 322.181

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     In the sale of lands, the principal value of which consists in the timber, the commissioner of the state land office shall require the payment of the entire amount of purchase money at the time of purchase, or such portion of the same, above 1/4, as he may deem for the best interest of the state.
