- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
Every warehouseman shall keep a record book, in which shall be entered immediately upon its receipt, a description of all property deposited with him for storage, including the brand or distinguishing marks on such property, together with the date of the reception of said property and the name and address of the owner thereof. And every receipt given for any such property shall also contain the same particulars, and shall be evidence in any action against said warehouseman.
