Terms Used In Michigan Laws 445.1086
- Consumer: means any of the following:
(i) The purchaser of a wheelchair, if the wheelchair was purchased from a wheelchair dealer or manufacturer for purposes other than resale. See Michigan Laws 445.1081state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o Wheelchair: means a chair mounted on wheels used by a person with a disability to enhance mobility. See Michigan Laws 445.1081
A wheelchair returned by a consumer in this state under this act, or by a consumer in another state under a similar law of that state, shall not be sold or leased again in this state unless full disclosure of the reasons for return is made to the prospective buyer or lessee.
