Terms Used In Michigan Laws 801.319
- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
- Municipality: means any city, village, or township. See Michigan Laws 801.312
The municipality shall not enforce any judgment obtained under this act by means of execution against the homestead of the defendant.
