Terms Used In Michigan Laws 16.130
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
The Michigan historical commission created under Act No. 271 of the Public Acts of 1913, as amended, being section 399.1 to 399.9 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, is transferred by a type II transfer to the department of state.
