Terms Used In Michigan Laws 125.1448a
- Authority: means the Michigan state housing development authority created in this act. See Michigan Laws 125.1411
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
The circuit court has jurisdiction to foreclose mortgages of real estate and land contracts held by the authority.
