  • Authority: means the Michigan state housing development authority created in this act. See Michigan Laws 125.1411
  • Foreclosure: A legal process in which property that is collateral or security for a loan may be sold to help repay the loan when the loan is in default. Source: OCC
  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
     Incident to the foreclosure of a mortgage pursuant to section 49 to 49v, the authority or its agents or assigns may enter the mortgaged premises for the purpose of posting or serving the notices required by section 49 to 49v.
