Terms Used In Michigan Laws 259.52
- Aeronautics: means any act or matter that treats or deals with flight in the airspace. See Michigan Laws 259.2
- Commission: means the Michigan aeronautics commission. See Michigan Laws 259.3
- Department: means the state transportation department, bureau of aeronautics. See Michigan Laws 259.3
- Director: means the deputy director of the department, bureau of aeronautics who is the director of the Michigan aeronautics commission. See Michigan Laws 259.3
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. Powers and duties of director of aeronautics. The director of aeronautics shall be the executive officer of the commission and department of aeronautics and under the commission’s supervision shall administer the provisions of this and all other acts relating to aeronautics within this state.
