- Juror: A person who is on the jury.
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
- Testify: Answer questions in court.
If a person is summoned to appear before a municipal court pursuant to this chapter as a juror or witness and fails to appear, or if the person appears but refuses to be sworn or to testify, the person shall be liable to the same penalties and may be proceeded against in the same manner as provided by law with respect to jurors and witnesses in civil proceedings in the district court.
