For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, and each fiscal year thereafter, the Board of Regents for Higher Education shall waive tuition and fees for students enrolled at Ansonia High School who participate in (1) the College Connections program at Derby High School, or (2) another manufacturing program offered in Ansonia or Derby, and use funds appropriated for purposes of this section to cover the costs of students participating in such programs.
