In the administration of the provisions of subsection (d) of section 31-222 and sections 31-231b, 31-232b to 31-232k, inclusive, subdivision (8) of subsection (a) of section 31-236 and section 31-250, which are enacted to conform with the requirements of the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970, the administrator shall take such action as may be necessary (1) to ensure that the provisions are so interpreted and applied as to meet the requirements of such federal act as interpreted by the United States Department of Labor, and (2) to secure to this state the full reimbursement of the federal share of extended benefits paid under said sections that are reimbursable under the federal act.
