- Personal representative: means a person, however denominated, who is authorized to administer a decedent's estate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
A successor personal representative has all the rights and powers of his or her predecessor except that the successor may not exercise powers given in a will which by its terms are personal to the personal representative therein designated.
