Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 18.725

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

The building commission may not sell operating notes under s. 18.73 (2) at any time if the amount of operating notes to be sold at that time plus the amount of operating notes outstanding at that time exceed 10 percent of the amounts shown in the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) of appropriations of general purpose revenues, as defined in s. 20.001 (2) (a), plus the amounts shown in the schedule of appropriations of program revenues, as defined in s. 20.001 (2) (b), both calculated as of that time and for that fiscal year.
