Terms Used In Missouri Laws 41.120

  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • United States: includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The governor of the state, by virtue of his office, is the commander in chief of the militia of the state, except such portion thereof as may at times be in the service of the United States.
