  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The county collector of revenue of each county of the first class not having a charter form of government and of each county of the second class shall provide, electronically or otherwise, a daily report to the auditor of receipts, and shall deliver to the auditor each day a deposit slip showing the day’s deposit. The collector shall, upon receiving taxes, give a numbered tax receipt to the taxpayer. The collector shall also provide, electronically or otherwise, a daily report to the auditor of all other sums of money collected by the collector from any source whatsoever, and in such report shall state on what account collected. The collector shall turn money over to the county treasurer under section 139.210.
