Terms Used In Missouri Laws 87.100

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Any fire department pension fund and relief association existing in this state under sections 87.495 to 87.515, is hereby empowered, by a majority vote of its members, to amalgamate with the board of trustees of the firemen’s pension fund formed under sections 87.010 to 87.105 in the same city, village or town, and thereupon all the assets and property of said relief association and all its rights and privileges shall be vested in said board of trustees, and all obligations, debts and liabilities of said association shall be assumed and shall become obligations, debts and liabilities of said board of trustees, and thenceforward the business of said amalgamated organizations shall be conducted under the terms of sections 87.010 to 87.105 by said board of trustees.
