Terms Used In Missouri Laws 171.091

  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The school board of any school district in this state may provide for the gratuitous education of persons over twenty years of age, resident in the school district. The gratuitous education, however, shall be provided only out of revenue derived by the school district from sources other than those described in Section 3, Article IX, of the Constitution of this State.
