Missouri Laws 235.250 – Dissolution of district, election for, when required — form of ballot
1. Whenever a petition signed by not less than one hundred voters in any district organized under the provisions of this chapter shall have been filed with the county commission setting forth all the relevant facts pertaining to said district, and alleging that the further operation of said district is inimicable to the best interests of the inhabitants of said district, and that said district should, in the interest of the public welfare and safety, be dissolved, said county commission shall have authority, after hearing evidence submitted on the aforesaid question, to order a submission of the question which shall be submitted to the voters of the district.
2. The question shall be submitted in substantially the following form:
Shall the ______ street light maintenance district be dissolved?
