Terms Used In Missouri Laws 242.698

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Any owner of lands or other property in the minor district shall have the right to appeal the finding or decree of the court annexing minor district to major district, said appeal to be prosecuted in the same manner as provided for appeals under the civil code.
