- conservator: as used in this chapter , includes limited conservator unless otherwise specified or apparent from the context. See Missouri Laws 475.010
- Decedent: A deceased person.
- Protectee: a person for whose estate a conservator or limited conservator has been appointed or with respect to whose estate a transaction has been authorized by the court under section 475. See Missouri Laws 475.010
In all cases where the court deems it advantageous to continue the business of a protectee, such business may be continued by the conservator of the estate on order of the court and according to the rules specified in section 473.300 for the continuation of the business of a decedent by a personal representative when no testamentary provisions are involved.
