  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.

An affidavit alleging any one of the causes set forth in the several subdivisions of section 521.010, in the language of such subsection, shall be held good and sufficient.
