Terms Used In Missouri Laws 547.150

  • In vacation: includes any adjournment of court for more than one day whenever any act is authorized to be done by or any power given to a court, or judge thereof in vacation, or whenever any act is authorized to be done by or any power given to a clerk of any court in vacation. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.

When any order to stay proceedings shall be made by the supreme court, or by any judge in vacation, the same, together with the writ of error, if any, shall be filed with the clerk of the court in which the judgment was rendered, who shall furnish the party filing the same with a certificate thereof, together with a copy of the order.
