1. Each contract shall provide by its terms for units of a single service or several services accessible to persons needing them in defined geographic areas.

2. Through monitoring of the contracts under department rules and under the contract terms, the department shall require evidence that the services funded by the state are cost-and-benefit effective.

Terms Used In Missouri Laws 630.415

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Department: the department of mental health of the state of Missouri. See Missouri Laws 630.005
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
