Council: means the Food Security Council created in Section 53B-18-1702. See Utah Code 53B-18-1701
Food security: means access to sufficient, affordable, safe, and nutritious food that meets an individual's food preferences and dietary needs. See Utah Code 53B-18-1701
Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
SNAP-Ed program: means the nutrition education component of the federal "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program" under Title 7, U. See Utah Code 53B-18-1701
State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
State superintendent: means the state superintendent of public instruction appointed under Section 53E-3-301. See Utah Code 53B-18-1701
United States: includes each state, district, and territory of the United States of America. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
