(1) Milk shall be tested and measured in accordance with:
Terms Used In Utah Code 4-3-206
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Food created in Chapter 2, Administration. See Utah Code 4-1-109
- Manufacturer: means any person who processes milk in a way that changes the milk's character. See Utah Code 4-3-102
- Processor: means any person who subjects milk to a process. See Utah Code 4-3-102
(1)(a) the latest edition of “Association of Official Analytical Chemists”;
(1)(b) the latest edition of “Standard Methods for Examination of Dairy Products”;
(1)(c) other publications accepted by the department; or
(1)(d) methods prescribed by the department.
(2) A processor or manufacturer shall perform quality work in accordance with the rules adopted by the department.
