Terms Used In Utah Code 10-9a-405
- General plan: means a document that a municipality adopts that sets forth general guidelines for proposed future development of the land within the municipality. See Utah Code 10-9a-103
- Land: includes :(18)(a) land;(18)(b) a tenement;(18)(c) a hereditament;(18)(d) a water right;(18)(e) a possessory right; and(18)(f) a claim. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
Except as provided in Section 10-9a-406, the general plan is an advisory guide for land use decisions, the impact of which shall be determined by ordinance.
