An agency shall comply with Section 9-8a-404 as though the agency is a state agency if:
(1) any of the existing buildings or uses in a community reinvestment project area are included in, or eligible for inclusion in, the National Register of Historic Places or the State Register; and

- Agency funds: means money that an agency collects or receives for agency operations, implementing a project area plan or an implementation plan as defined in Section
17C-1-1001 , or other agency purposes, including:(5)(a) project area funds;(5)(b) income, proceeds, revenue, or property derived from or held in connection with the agency's undertaking and implementation of project area development or agency-wide project development as defined in Section17C-1-1001 ;(5)(c) a contribution, loan, grant, or other financial assistance from any public or private source;(5)(d) project area incremental revenue as defined in Section17C-1-1001 ; or(5)(e) property tax revenue as defined in Section17C-1-1001 . See Utah Code 17C-1-102- Community: means a county or municipality. See Utah Code 17C-1-102
- Project area: means the geographic area described in a project area plan within which the project area development described in the project area plan takes place or is proposed to take place. See Utah Code 17C-1-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(2) the agency spends agency funds on the demolition or rehabilitation of existing buildings described in Subsection (1).
