(1) Before delivering the official register to the poll workers, the county clerk shall verify the accuracy and completeness of the official register.

Terms Used In Utah Code 20A-5-205

  • Official register: means the official record furnished to election officials by the election officer that contains the information required by Section 20A-5-401. See Utah Code 20A-1-102
  • Polling place: means a building where voting is conducted. See Utah Code 20A-1-102
(2) The county clerk shall, before the polls open at an early voting center or any other polling place:

     (2)(a) deliver the official register to each polling place; and
     (2)(b) provide verification of the official register’s accuracy and completeness.
(3) This section does not prohibit a county clerk from updating an official register as necessary.
