(1) No provision of this chapter may be construed in a manner that limits:
Terms Used In Utah Code 36-11-405
- Local government: means :(22)(a) a county, city, or town;(22)(b) a special district governed by Title 17B, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Special Districts;(22)(c) a special service district governed by Title 17D, Chapter 1, Special Service District Act;(22)(d) a community reinvestment agency governed by Title 17C, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Community Reinvestment Agency Act;(22)(e) a conservation district governed by Title 17D, Chapter 3, Conservation District Act;(22)(f) a redevelopment agency; or(22)(g) an interlocal entity or a joint cooperative undertaking governed by Title 11, Chapter 13, Interlocal Cooperation Act. See Utah Code 36-11-102
- Person: means :
(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(1)(a) a person‘s right of freedom of expression and participation in government; or(1)(b) freedom of the press.(2) This chapter does not prevent a local government or public education entity from enacting an ordinance or adopting a policy, that the local government or public education entity otherwise has the lawful authority to enact or adopt, that is stricter than the requirements of this chapter. - Person: means :
