(1) This chapter is known as the “Interstate Local Emergency Response Act.”
Terms Used In Utah Code 53-2b-101
- Emergency: means :(3)(a) a natural or man-made disaster, a riot, a civil disturbance, violence, criminal activity, a fire, a flood, or extreme weather;(3)(b) an injury, illness, or other medical condition that requires an expedited response; or(3)(c) a circumstance that presents an imminent threat to life, property, or the public health, safety, or welfare. See Utah Code 53-2b-102(2) This part is known as “General Provisions.”
