Terms Used In Utah Code 59-1-608
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
The exclusive remedy for review of a decision or order of the district court entered under this part shall be by appeal. Any party to the action has the right to an appeal.
