Although a document or writing added upon a document was not executed in compliance with Section
(1) the decedent’s will;
Terms Used In Utah Code 75-2-503
- Decedent: A deceased person.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Writing: includes :(48)(a) printing;(48)(b) handwriting; and(48)(c) information stored in an electronic or other medium if the information is retrievable in a perceivable format. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(2) a partial or complete revocation of the will;(3) an addition to or an alteration of the will; or(4) a partial or complete revival of his formerly revoked will or of a formerly revoked portion of the will.
