(1) Jurors may be provided with a reasonable food allowance under the rules of the Judicial Council.
Terms Used In Utah Code 78B-1-111
- Court: means trial court. See Utah Code 78B-1-102
- Jury: means a body of persons temporarily selected from the citizens of a particular county invested with the power to present and indict a person for a public offense or to try a question of fact. See Utah Code 78B-1-102
(2) When a jury has been placed in sequestration by order of the court, the necessary expenses for food and lodging shall be provided in accordance with the rules of the Judicial Council.
