Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws > Chapter 21-27.3 - Disposable Food Service Containers
- Consumer: means an individual who purchases or accepts food or beverages for use or consumption. See Rhode Island General Laws 21-27.3-1
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Covered establishment: includes , but is not limited to:
(i) A "food service establishment" which shall have the same meaning set forth in § 21-27-1. See Rhode Island General Laws 21-27.3-1
- Disposable food service container: means service ware designed for one-time use. See Rhode Island General Laws 21-27.3-1
- person: may be construed to extend to and include co-partnerships and bodies corporate and politic. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-6
- Polystyrene foam: means blown polystyrene and expanded or extruded foams using a styrene monomer. See Rhode Island General Laws 21-27.3-1
- Service ware: means a container, bowl, plate, tray, carton, cup, lid, sleeve, stirrer, or other item designed to be used to contain, transport, serve, or consume prepared foods. See Rhode Island General Laws 21-27.3-1
