(a) Each state-certified and licensed real estate appraiser shall advise the director of the address of his or her principal place of business and all other addresses at which he or she is currently engaged in the business of preparing real property appraisal reports.

- Appraisal: A determination of property value.
- Director: means the director of the department of business regulation. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-20.7-2
- Real estate: means an identified parcel or tract of land, including improvements, if any. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-20.7-2
(b) Whenever a state-certified or licensed real estate appraiser changes his or her place of business, he or she shall give ten (10) days in advance written notification of the change to the director and shall apply for an amended certificate.
