(a) All state agencies may render any services to the authority within their functions as may be requested by the authority.
Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 16-62-17
- Authority: means the governmental agency and public instrumentality authorized, created, and established pursuant to § 16-62-4. See Rhode Island General Laws 16-62-3
- State: means the state of Rhode Island. See Rhode Island General Laws 16-62-3
(b) Upon request of the authority, any state agency is authorized and empowered to transfer to the authority any officers and employees as it may deem necessary to assist the authority in carrying out its functions and duties under this chapter. Officers and employees transferred shall not lose their civil service status or rights.
