(a) If the secretary of state denies a partnership‘s application for reinstatement following administrative revocation of the partnership’s statement of qualification, the secretary of state shall serve the partnership with a notice in a record that explains the reasons for the denial.

- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See Rhode Island General Laws 7-12.1-102
(b) A partnership may seek judicial review of denial of reinstatement in the Providence County superior court not later than thirty (30) days after service of the notice of denial.
