  • child: refers to a child who is less than eighteen (18) years of age. See Indiana Code 27-8-23-3
  • Dependent: A person dependent for support upon another.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
