Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

Sec. 4. A member of the general assembly who knowingly or intentionally conspires with a lobbyist in the violation of section 2 or 3 of this chapter commits a Level 6 felony.
