Sec. 26.8. “Law enforcement officer” means a:
(2) sheriff;
(1) police officer;

- Sheriff: means the sheriff of the county or another person authorized to perform sheriff's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(3) constable;
(4) marshal; or
(5) deputy of any of those persons.
