Sec. 1. (a) This chapter applies to grants awarded from the fund after July 31, 2019.

fund: refers to the rural broadband fund established by section 11 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-4-38.5-5
office: refers to the office of community and rural affairs established by Indiana Code 4-4-38.5-6

(b) This chapter does not apply to subgrants awarded by the Indiana broadband office under the federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program established under 47 U.S.C. § 1702(b).
