Terms Used In Indiana Code 5-10.1-2-5

  • Agreement: as used in this article means the federal-state agreement specified in chapter 2 of this article. See Indiana Code 5-10.1-1-10
  • Federal Insurance Contributions Act: as used in this article , means subchapters A and B of chapter 21 of the Internal Revenue Code. See Indiana Code 5-10.1-1-4
  • Social Security Act: as used in this article means the act of Congress approved August 14, 1935, chapter 531, 49 Stat. See Indiana Code 5-10.1-1-9
   Sec. 5. Payment to the Secretary of Treasury. The state shall pay to the secretary of the treasury, as prescribed under the Social Security Act, contributions equal to the sum of taxes which would be imposed by the Federal Insurance Contributions Act if the act applied to services covered by the agreement.
