Sec. 22. The office shall ensure that grievances and complaints are addressed concerning the following:
(2) Designation or revocation of designation of local:
(1) Action taken or failure to take action on behalf of a resident.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 12-10-13-22
- office: refers to the long term care ombudsman office established by this chapter. See Indiana Code 12-10-13-4
- ombudsman: means an individual or entity designated by the state ombudsman to investigate and resolve local complaints and concerns regarding the health, safety, welfare, or rights of residents. See Indiana Code 12-10-13-4.5
(A) host agencies; or
(B) representatives of the state long term care ombudsman program and office.
