Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). ^{Source: OCC}
Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5

Sec. 4. The state may lease any of the real property to the city pending the conveyance of the real property under this chapter.
