Sec. 30. As used in this chapter, “pesticide” means:

(1) any substance or mixture of substances intended for:

Terms Used In Indiana Code 15-16-4-30

  • defoliant: means any:

    Indiana Code 15-16-4-8

  • desiccant: means any:

    Indiana Code 15-16-4-9

  • pest: has the meaning set forth in IC 15-16-5-24. See Indiana Code 15-16-4-29
  • plant regulator: means any substance or mixture of substances, intended through physiological action, for:

    Indiana Code 15-16-4-34

(A) preventing;

(B) destroying;

(C) repelling; or

(D) mitigating;

a pest; and

(2) any substance or mixture of substances intended for use as a:

(A) plant regulator;

(B) defoliant; or

(C) desiccant.
