Sec. 39. As used in this chapter, “terrestrial ecologist” means a scientist with a degree in, extensive training in, or experience in at least one (1) of the following:
(1) Animal ecology.
(2) Plant ecology.
(3) Vertebrate natural history.
(4) Herpetology.
(5) Ornithology.
(6) Mammalogy.
(7) Field zoology.
